The Heritage University Testing Center offers a variety of testing services. The Testing Center is located on the Toppenish campus in the Academic Skills Center inside the Kathleen Ross Center Building.

Future Students

Placement testing is required for new or transfer students who have applied for admission to Heritage University and do not bring college-level credit for English and/or mathematics. Test results determine students’ placement in English, and mathematics ensuring greater student success as they begin their academic careers at Heritage University. 

Faculty and Current Students 

The Testing Center administers make-up and accommodation testing through coordination with faculty and students.

Directions and Map

Testers must bring picture ID, arrive on campus 15 minutes prior to the test time and report to the Student Services Building.

Scheduling a Placement Test

Placement testing appointments can be set through an admissions counselor, the Admissions office or by contacting the Testing Center directly.

Mondays – Thursdays
10 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m.

Scheduling Alternative Testing

Students with disabilities or special needs who are working with the Office of Student Affairs may schedule testing in the Testing Center in coordination with Student Affairs and faculty members as part of a reasonable accommodation request. Students are responsible for contacting the Office of Student Affairs to make a formal request for appropriate and reasonable accommodations.

General make-up testing can be scheduled in the Testing Center in coordination with the course faculty.
