2020 Heritage University National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (HU NSF REU)

Rolling Admissions Starting January/February 2020

Minimum requirements for 2020 Applicants:

  1. Science major at university or community college,
  2. Strong desire, passion, and interest in science,
  3. Required coursework (at least one of each: college level Math, Biology and Chemistry courses).

For Summer 2020, the paid internship will include the following:

  • $6,000 research stipend (for 10 weeks)
  • Transportation funds and housing are all covered by our HU NSF REU at selected summer research site.
  • Internship includes a mandatory intensive pre-REU workshop at Heritage University to be held in May 2020; from 10am to 3.00pm. For students on quarter system, another pre-REU workshop at Heritage University will be provided in June 2020 to accommodate student intern class schedule.

Research experience at host labs starts late May or early/mid June and ends in early August or early September (alternative times may be considered).
