Join us Tuesday, March 28, 2023 for “Major James Sanks Brisbin: Wordsmith & Warrior” with Ryan W. Booth, Ph.D.
In Dr. Booth’s presentation, he tells us Major James Sanks Brisbin served as an officer in the Civil War and later in the US West. A staunch abolitionist as well as a noted journalist, Brisbin’s reflections offer a glimpse into the nineteenth century through his eyes and perhaps says something for our own time.
This presentation is part of the Faculty Scholarship/Research Series cosponsored by The Center for Intercultural Learning and Teaching and the Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs at Heritage University.
