Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Emergency Fund
Our students face many challenges on their journey to achieve a college degree, from food insecurity to reliable transportation, and everything in between. DACA students have even more to distract them from their studies: they are required to re-register with the federal government every three years to maintain their status. Registration entails a fee of $500 and often requires the employment of an immigration attorney to ensure documents are filed accurately.
Your support of this fund will help alleviate some of the financial burden for our DACA students, allowing them to focus their energy on their education and their future. And now you have the opportunity to make TWICE THE IMPACT as a generous donor has offered to match up to $5000 towards this effort for our DACA students!
