I want to work alongside policy makers to have an impact on policies that affect underrepresented populations and communities like the Yakima Valley.

Attending Heritage University has been by far the best decision I’ve made.  I had always wanted to return to school but never gave myself the chance.  Now I am a senior majoring in social work and anticipate graduating in spring 2013.  I enjoy helping effect positive change that impacts entire communities.  For this reason, I plan to attend graduate school to earn a master’s degree in public policy.  I feel very strongly that I can help make a difference for the betterment of the diverse populations that inhabit the Yakima Valley.
