The Business Administration program at Heritage focuses on building confidence by giving students a complete understanding of the fundamentals of business and providing important insight as to the social and economic environment in which we live. Several disciplines are covered in the program,  which allow students to gain a greater overall view of the happenings in the business world. Added computer instruction ensures that students stay current with the constantly evolving technology found in today’s businesses. Students in this program ultimately become better communicators and are prepared for the challenging roles and opportunities ahead of them in the management and administration of complex organizations.

 

About the Accounting Program

The Accounting program at Heritage prepares students for successful entry into professional accountancy andsatisfi es the Washington State Board of Accountancy 150-hour rule for students wishing to become CPAs. The curriculum addresses personal competencies, functional competencies, and broad business perspective. Additional coursework is tailored to the needs of each student and includes a balance of communications, advanced accountancy, leadership, and effective team-building skills.
