College Student Inventory (CSI)
The CSI as part of a coordinated retention effort between
the student and the program advisor. The results of the
inventory allows advisors and students to establish meaningful
rapport on first contact and connect students with the
appropriate support services early in the term.

High School Equivalency Program (HEP)

HEP Alliance is a partnership between Heritage University
and Yakima Valley Opportunities Industrialization Center's
(OIC) Program and Washington State Migrant Council (WSMC).
The primary goal of the HEP Alliance is to help seasonal worker
students obtain a GED and be placed in career positions, military
services, post-secondary or other training programs.

The Geneseo Migrant Center administers a variety of scholarships
to offer financial assistance to migrant students who want to

Northwest Communities Action Center (NCAC)
This agency strives to meet the basic human needs of food, water
and shelter. Qualified caseworkers assess the needs of families,
and then refer them to programs that will enable them to achieve a
higher level of self-sufficiency.

Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC)
OIC’s purpose is to provide education and employment support
so that communities can live with greater skills, confidence
and fulfillment through employment training, educational
credentials, resume and interview training, job placement,
living assistance and housing improvement.

Childcare Resource & Referral
Child Care Resource & Referral connects parents with licensed
child care and offers child care providers training and support.

United Farmworkers in WA State
The purpose of Farm Worker rights in Washington State site is by
no means comprehensive and is in fact a very small beginning, but
we hope that the interviews and photographs spur interest in the
rights of Farm Workers and give a voice to the people who have
been key to the success of agricultural business in Washington.
