Program Application Checklist:

  • Complete the Heritage University Admissions Process:
    • Heritage University Application
    • Official high school transcript or GED certificate with test scores
    • Heritage University Placment Assessment (Please contact the Academic Support Program at (509) 865-8517 to schedule an appointment)

  • Proof of having filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Proof of eligibility-requires a copy of one of the folowing:
    • W-2 form(s) (totaling at least $2500 in wages earned)
    • Check stubs (totaling 75 days worked or more)
    • Certificate of Eligibility (from having participated in the Migrant Education Program)
    • A copy of the eligibility contract from the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP), Sec. 167 of WIA.

  • Personal Autobiography
    Please type, in English, an autobiographical essay (in no less than 500 words). Your essay is an important part of your application, so be sure to take the time to write well, be descriptive and most importantly, be honest. Please address the following in your essay:
    • Why are you choosing to go to college?
    • How has your experience working in agriculture-related employment or being a dependent of parents who have been agricultural employeees impacted your life?

  • Copy of Picture ID
