Melissa Hill is the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs for Heritage University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from Eastern Washington University and a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University Alaska. She oversees the Academic Advising Center and launched the Career Services; she serves on the President’s cabinet and also participates in extensive meetings and initiatives on campus. Prior to coming to Heritage, Melissa served for twelve years as the Director of K-12 Outreach for the University of Alaska Statewide system. Research interests have focused on teacher recruitment and retention, indigenous education, and teacher efficacy.
