I. PREPARATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ELEMENTARY LEVEL (Levels K-8)
Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree,
Major: Elementary Education.
Elementary Education Endorsement (Levels K-8)
This baccalaureate degree program is designed to provide broad preparation
for students planning to teach at the elementary (K-8) grade levels. Students
complete General University Requirements, Professional Education Core Courses
listed above, Specialty Methods Courses, a selected concentration, and required
supporting courses.
Upon satisfactory completion of all requirements for a B.A. in Ed. degree
and all certification requirements, Heritage University recommends the student
to the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction for approval of all endorsements
earned and the Washington State Residency Teacher Certificate.
