Heritage alumnus Francisco Guerrero loves Sunnyside, Washington. When he became a student at Heritage, he knew that he wanted three things for certain: a business career he could be proud of, to stay in his hometown near his family, and to help make his community better for all.  Today, Francisco is happily enjoying all three goals.

David Garcia, Class of 2009
When the Yakima School District Board of Directors convened in August before the start of the new school year, a Heritage University alumnus filled a seat as the newest and youngest member. David Garcia (M.Ed. in Professional Development in Teaching and Learning, 2009) was appointed in August to fill the school board position left vacant when the board chair resigned.

Heritage alumnus Gary Pierce, Jr.—a member of the Yakama Nation—is helping to make the world a better place for his people and his community.
