Each year at Commencement, Heritage University honors a graduate who embodies the ideals of the University in his or her life and in the community.
Brenda Castañeda, '07
Brenda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
Brenda's career in marketing began as an undergraduate at Heritage through her participation ni MECHA and SIFE. Upon graduation, she took a marketing position with Pepperidge Farm for four years prior to joining Ste. Michelle Wineries in 2011 as associate marketing manager for international brands.
"One thing I am most proud of is being able to show the world the caliber of graduates that come from Heritage University," she said. "The experiences I've gained have equipped me to share a new and motivating perspective with others. I continue to give back to my community by maintaining ties with current Heritage students, alumni and SIFE team."
Brenda also volunteers as an Alumni Representative on the Board of Directors for the Independent Colleges of Washington.
