The Heritage Special Education program is for educators who anticipate working with special-needs K-12 students. The program is offered through our HU105 residency based program and through our Masters in Education in Teacher Leadership program.
HU105 is a full time placement in a classroom for 3-4 semesters, depending on the degree you are seeking (B.A. or MIT).
Once completed, candidates will earn a K-8 endorsement, Special Education endorsement, and ESL endorsement.

Candidates can also pursue special education through our Master of Education in Teacher Leadership. The program can be completed in a short year in a half.
