What if I want to move my child from part time to full time, how does that work?
You would submit a change of schedule form, as you do now, to the director by the 15th of the month. Your new schedule will then become effective the 1st of the next month.
What if my child misses a few days due to illness, do I still pay?
Yes, it is common practice for early learning centers/child care centers to charge for days your child is absent as a means of reserving their spot.
When is my payment due?
Payments are due by the 10th of each month. After that day, a late fee of $5 per day will be tacked on.
If I choose to withdraw my child out for an extended vacation or summer break, can I get them back in? For example, three weeks at winter break?
Yes, if we have an opening, your child will be welcomed in. You will need to fill out an update to your application again. If in the course of the break, we can fill that vacancy, then we will. As a business we need to stay at near or full capacity, in order for us to stay up and running.
How can I reserve that spot so it is not given away?
You would have to pay for the time your child is gone.
If I get assistance from another entity (DSHS or Tribal support), will my copay change with this new schedule?
You would have to report any changes in schedule or child care needs to those agencies. In turn, they determine, not us, your copay.
