Brenda Castañeda (B.A., Business Administration) was appointed to serve on the board of directors for Independent Colleges of Washington (ICW). ICW is an association serving the 10 private, nonprofit colleges in the state of Washington. In addition to serving ICW, she is a marketing manager for global brands at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates in Woodinville, Washington.
Philip Burdeau (B.A., Psychology) was appointed Tribal Director for the Yakama Nation in September. He oversees approximately 1,100 employees and most of the programs and departments for the Yakama Nation.
Paul Valdez (B.A., Elementary Education) was promoted by EPIC to associate director of early childhood education. He has worked for EPIC for nearly 16 years in a number of positions, most recently as center manager for its Parker Heights early childhood education center.
