Expert on Servant Leadership to Give Lecture at Heritage University
Toppenish, WA — An internationally recognized speaker on the philosophy and practice of servant leadership will give a lecture to students, faculty, community members and invited guests at Heritage University on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Tony Baron, D.Min., Psy D., has 25 years of work in the field of servant leadership. Dr. Baron will draw upon his experience as well as use information from one of his recent books, The Art of Servant Leadership, as part of his presentation.
Dr. Baron’s lecture is also an important element of “Essential Leadership Concepts,” which is a foundational course of the master’s degree in Organizational Leadership offered at Heritage University.
Baron is the director of Azusa Pacific University Graduate School of Theology in San Diego, CA, and associate professor of Christian Leadership and Cultural Engagement. He has also planted two churches, developed a Christian healing center, and started two consulting firms based on the concept of servant leadership.
