FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Corporate Founder Presenting Heritage's Convocation Address
Toppenish, Wash. — Diane Tice, co-founder of the international individual, professional and organizational development corporation The Pacific Institute, is presenting the keynote address at Heritage University’s Fall Convocation on September 18.
Tice, along with her late husband Lou, founded The Pacific Institute 41 years ago to help people reach their fullest potential through leadership development and change management. Since its founding, more than 60% of the nation’s Fortune 1,000 companies have worked with the Institute, and more than 30,000,000 people worldwide have participated in its programs and services.
Significant among Tice’s accomplishments is the role she played developing the Institute’s programs in Northern Ireland and her work to help create youth and teacher-training programs for war-torn Guatemala in 2006. Among her many honors are The Artful Science of Success “Spirit of Woman” Lifetime Achievement Award given in 2012 and the 1999 Washington State Woman of the Year: The Power of One award.
Fall Convocation is one of three traditional ceremonies held at Heritage University—Spring Convocation and Commencement being the other two. Each fall faculty, staff and students join together at Fall Convocation to officially open the academic year. This year’s event takes place in Smith Family Hall from 11:00 a.m. - noon. The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are recommended and can be made online at heritage.edu or by calling 509-865-0441.
