Heritage University Student Art Show Honors Young Artists
Toppenish, WA - Five local high school students received special recognition for their work in the Heritage University's 9th Annual Invitational High School Art Exhibit.
the five were selected from a pool of 86 entries from schools throughout ESD 105. Taking home honors were: Enley Rodriguez, East Valley High School, Painting Merit and Sculpture Award; Jessica Wells, Goldendale High School, Drawing Merit Award; Madeline Wilson, East Valley High School, Photography Merit Award; Zach Morehead, Davis High School, Jewelry Merit Award; and Cynthia Padilla, West Valley High School, Glass Award.
Visiting Artist-in-Residence Brian Holzinger, a Yakima-area painter whose works can be found in collections throughout the United State, juried the exhibit.
All entries will be on display in the Jewett Center on Heritage University's main campus in Toppenish through April 1.
