Heritage University Hosts Career Expo 2016
Toppenish, WA — An upcoming event at Heritage University will connect Yakima Valley job seekers and employers. The Career Expo 2016 is free and open to the public, and can put job seekers in touch with key employers, and allow them to network with other professionals.
The Career Expo at Heritage can also help employers learn more about opportunities to host interns and work with the university’s academic programs. Heritage University has launched “Career Connect,” an online career services management system that allows employers to post job openings online and connect with HU students.
People who attend the Career Expo can also learn about graduate-level programs offered at universities across the Northwest. These schools, which include University of Washington School of Pharmacy, UW School of Dentistry, UW School of Social Work, Portland State University School of Social Work and others, will have representatives with information about their graduate degree programs.
The Career Expo 2016 will be held on Thursday, March 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Smith Family Hall located in the Arts and Science Center on Heritage University’s main campus in Toppenish. Employers interested in participating in the event should contact Career Services Specialist Lizbet Maceda at (509) 865-8528 or Maceda_l@heritage.edu.
